Programa integral del Gobierno de Junín que acompaña a más de 350 o 400 vecinos mayores en situación de vulnerabilidad o soledad mediante llamadas telefónicas diarias de operadoras, contención psicológica y articulación con redes de asistencia.

A comprehensive program implemented by the Government of Junín that supports more than 350–400 older residents who are in vulnerable situations or experiencing social isolation. The program provides daily telephone calls from trained municipal staff, psychological support, and coordination with assistance and support networks.

Aim of the Good Practice

Objetivo: Prevenir la soledad, asistir ante necesidades cotidianas y garantizar derechos básicos de las personas mayores.Funcionamiento: Operadoras municipales se comunican de forma permanente con los inscriptos para saber su estado de salud y anímico.Articulación: Trabaja junto a servicios de emergencia, la Mesa Local contra la violencia y operativos barriales Objective: To prevent social isolation and loneliness, provide assistance with everyday needs, and ensure that older adults have access to and can effectively exercise their basic rights. How it works: Municipal staff maintain regular and ongoing contact with registered participants to monitor their physical health, emotional well-being, and overall situation. Coordination: The program works in coordination with emergency services, the Local Committee for the Prevention of Violence, and community-based outreach initiatives.
