“Crecer en tu barrio” es un programa municipal de jornada extendida de Junín destinado a niños, niñas y jóvenes de entre 6 y 12 años, que descentraliza actividades educativas, deportivas, artísticas y tecnológicas en diferentes sociedades de fomento y sectores de la ciudad.

“Crecer en tu Barrio” (“Growing in Your Neighborhood”) is a municipal extended-day program implemented by the Government of Junín for children aged 6 to 12. The program decentralizes educational, sports, artistic, and technology-based activities by bringing them directly to neighborhood community centers and different areas across the city.

Aim of the Good Practice

Objetivos y Actividades Apoyo escolar: Clases de fortalecimiento educativo con foco en Lengua, Prácticas del Lenguaje y Matemática para nivel primario y secundario. Talleres tecnológicos: Iniciación a la robótica y actividades digitales vinculadas a la educación tecnológica. Deportes y arte: Espacios deportivos coordinados junto a clubes locales y propuestas artísticas o musicales a cargo de la Dirección de Juventud Academic Support: Educational reinforcement classes focused primarily on Language, Literacy, and Mathematics, aimed at strengthening children’s learning and academic development. Technology Workshops: Introductory robotics and digital activities designed to provide children with early exposure to technology, innovation, and digital education. Sports and Arts: Sports activities organized in coordination with local clubs, together with artistic and musical workshops led by the Municipality’s Youth Department.
