The dynamic increase in knowledge and digitalization requires future-oriented education and training offerings in the short term. There is a growing need for flexible and permeable education systems with individual and progressive (continuing) education offerings. Lifelong learning is becoming a social necessity.
In response to central societal challenges, Carinthia University of Applied Sciences is initiating an “Education and Innovation Hub” and building it up with partners from the education sector, public administration, and companies. The hub sees itself as an active education and innovation center and contributes as an impulse generator to strengthen the living and business location, as well as to secure future viability.
The tasks of the education hub are:
– the analysis of educational needs
– networking with educational institutions and bundling the training and further education competencies of regional educational offers
– the development of new and jointly scalable educational offers (digital educational offers play an essential role here)
