Street Christmas is an initiative of the Coordination of Policies for the Homeless Population with the social movements that work with the agenda and aims to guarantee the access of the homeless population to the Christmas festivity and also to promote cultural, recreational and social activities of social integration, ensuring food, artistic presentations and various activities

The Coordination of Policies for the Homeless Population estimates that approximately 2,000 people attended. As the event was open to the homeless population in Praça da Sé, it is difficult to pinpoint the exact number of people who attended.
