The Municipality of the City of Santa Fe, through its program for the management of mosquito-borne diseases and their vector Aedes aegypti, implements a comprehensive promotion and prevention strategy against dengue throughout the city. The initiative includes actions across all intervention areas: health promotion, prevention, entomological monitoring, and outbreak response measures.

Health promotion and community education activities are carried out through three main lines of action: workshops, community talks, and informational stands at fairs and territorial events.

In addition, prevention measures are implemented through assisted clean-up operations to eliminate mosquito breeding sites, intervention protocols in response to confirmed dengue cases, and entomological monitoring using specific devices designed to track Aedes aegypti mosquito activity.

This comprehensive approach combines public health and environmental policies aimed at reducing risks, strengthening community prevention, and protecting families and vulnerable populations from mosquito-borne diseases.
