The counselling centres for families, couples, and young people in the State of Carinthia offer free, anonymous, and confidential counselling on all aspects of life. These counseling centers are located in all district administrative offices and provide support for legal and social issues, parenting concerns, child care, divorce, visitation rights, child support, mental health issues, and economic and social issues affecting expectant mothers. The counseling services involve collaboration with doctors, psychologists, lawyers, and licensed social workers.

Assistance for people in special circumstances has proven to be a particularly helpful measure for rapid and uncomplicated help for people in extraordinary circumstances, especially in times of the Corona pandemic as well as in times of inflation, but also in the case of natural disasters.
