Cyberbullying among young people

(V.D.03) Education, (V.D.05) Safety

Building on the measures implemented to date, a micro-credential course on children’s rights and child protection was developed in collaboration with the Carinthia University of Education (PH Kärnten) and has already been delivered on several occasions. Through this course (which is open to both school teaching staff and early years education professionals), as well as further child protection-specific training (e.g. the integration of child protection content into headteacher training), there is an ongoing transfer of knowledge regarding children’s rights, child protection and child protection concepts for those working in the education sector in Carinthia. In addition, a further dialogue picture was developed to illustrate the complex issue of cyber violence. This supports the targeted addressing of the topic in schools, as well as in other areas of work with young people, such as in child and youth welfare services and open youth work.
