La vivienda asistida se define como hogares funcionales, de pequeña escala, ubicados dentro del entorno comunitario, donde conviven a largo plazo un grupo de 4 a 10 personas con discapacidad intelectual y necesidades de apoyo limitadas o extensas, bajo un modelo operativo parcialmente autogestionado.

Evaluation of the Good Practice
The individuals who make up the group are chosen by the person themselves, including professionals from the network, family members, or close individuals. Once agreed upon, they act as facilitators in achieving the person’s goals and personal expectations, which are reflected in their Individual Support Plan (ISP).
